ARLINGTON, VA, Mar. 10, 2017 – Following the success of its first pitch night last October, VetImpact (https://www.vetimpact.org) is partnering with Eastern Foundry (http://eastern-foundry.com/) to host its second Pitch Night on March 28th, 2017. This event will feature three veteran-owned companies pitching their ideas to investors.
This pitch night aligns with VetImpact’s goal to mentor and assist veteran entrepreneurs working to build businesses in post-conflict states. Investors will provide valuable feedback and advice to help veterans refine and improve their ideas and ultimately make their companies a reality.
The event will begin at 6:00 PM EST with presentations from subject matter experts Jim Hake from Spirit of America and Edwin “Skip” Vincent from Soft Power Solutions LLC. Both experts have extensive experience in business development, entrepreneurship, and civil military cooperation. Following the presentations, the veteran entrepreneurs will pitch their ideas. The evening will conclude with refreshments from District Taco.
VetImpact is dedicated to transforming veterans’ entrepreneurial visions into profitable and sustainable businesses to create long-term economic development in regions of post-conflict and instability throughout the world. Founded in 2015, the non-profit supports veteran entrepreneurs throughout the entire life-cycle of international business development, from ideation and business model creation, to market design, supply chain optimization, and financing, along with sustained consultation and advocacy to enhance their mission and impact.
